I'm not sure what I thought about it.
(Spoiler)
At the moment I think it was quite good. I'm disappointed they didn't stretch the will he/won't he regenerate bit out a bit longer. The episode started and he practically regenerated straight away. Even though it was obvious he was going to be okay, they could have just dragged it out a bit longer!
Most of the episode wasn't _that_ great, but there've been far worse. I dunno, it felt like not a lot was happening and there was a lot of stalling to get to the end. I didn't like the human Doctor at all. I mean, I could tell that he was supposed to be a bit of an arse, but ug. And I was gutted that Rose got stuck with him at the end. I cried like a baby over that because ROSE AND THE DOCTOR SHOULD BE TOGETHER AND DO ANOTHER SERIES. I can't believe that Rose has just been put in a parallel world FOREVER again. And I want to know for certain what he said after 'Rose Tyler' at Bad Wolf Bay.
And the ending with Donna was pretty pathetic. As much as I dislike Catherine Tate, Donna's character has grown on me the last couple of episodes, yet I wish that she'd died. I know that sounds horrible, but I was starting to feel a bit sorry for her, especially when you realise that she really doesn't think of herself as being that important. I dunno. I think towards the end she was a really well written character, but they just trashed that at by reminding everyone what an annoying gobshite she was in the first place instead of the way she'd grown throughout the series. And great, she gets to stay like that for the rest of her life, oh huzzah. >_>
Actually, writing that has made me realise how disappointed I was with the episode. I don't think it was bad, but it just didn't end how I wanted it to.
