Not really art and photography, but its something i've made and do need the feedback. :p
Ideas so far:
reduce size of images to cut loading time
fix borders so they're even

It's nice Ben.
Indeed, the borders need fixing.
Ugh, I wish Firefox didn't display a horizontal scrollbar for the iframe.
The text at the top except for the title could do with being slightly bigger.

Yeh and the two links to the right.
Because the anti-aliasing makes it kinda blurred with the text being the size it is.

Ehmm how about a pattern on the backround a slightly faded one to make it look nice but not distract people.

Think the mass of brown is too overpowering? I considered that...

I'd say if you wanted to streamline the appearance a little more, you could make the background of the textbox just slightly darker. Just my misinformed opinion

Also, yeah, if they're trying to look cosy and warm and traditional, I would add some kind of pattern to the brown background. Something reminiscent of wallpaper. Otherwise, if they want to seem a little more modern, leave it plain.

Thats the thing... they want traditional, but also modern and simple. So I went mostly modern, with times copy and titling. I dunno. They're hard to work with :p

Ooooooh I would stay there!
I think the brown is a bit too dark though too,
Maybe have a bit more of that lovely cream

I'm just repeating whats already been said but the 'Enjoy your stay' and the Home/Contact links should be abit bigger imo, but then again if they're bigger it might make the main title look to small.
And maybe a little pattern to break up the solid bakcground, but anything too detailed could look abit =/
It looks really good though :)
EDIT - Yeah what Hep said, cream might look nice

I like it. For the specs you said, I think it's spot on.
Only thing I'd change is to lessen the amount of images you've used, for loading time obv, and just use tables instead. I mean, you've mostly used Times, so it's not as if images are absolutely necessary?
Looking creamy and lickable though!
