Default Are you new? forum.

Heya.

I've only just joined, and noticed there is no forum for me to introduce myself. I have come from another message board, a very popular one, I was there for 5 years was a forum moderator once and a chat moderator 6 times.

My suggestion is creating a forum for new members to introduce themselves.

Opinions?

Also, your signature should be 450x150 in total.

Yours is about 400x339

Take out one or more of the images until it fits in that boundary?

The admins should consider putting a limit on it.

It's not really upto the admins to sort out everyone's signatures for them though is it? They've got plenty of work to be doing implementing new features and running the boards. It's upto the users to sort out their signatures but if there is one too big I'm sure an admin will just remove it altogether

It doesnt take two minutes to impliment a limit, to save new users being driven 8-) cos they dont know sizes n stuff

So turn TS into a sort of online nanny state then?

Never seemed to have any problems before with the limits so why change what's worked fine before?

Anyways, I can't be bothered arguing today I'll let staff see to it.

Whatever i mean it's up to you guys, but it would be better to hold a limit instead of making members feel unwelcome with the greeting "your siggy is too big"

Any way of deleting my acct? >.>

You've got a newbie thread here.

I pointed out the problems with the dimensions in passing but it seems that any problems with the signatures are the admins faults and not the users because admin should have put a block on it a long time ago to keep us under control. It's NEVER the user's fault is it?

Oh, you can't delete your account yourself but I'm sure Ben, Mo or Avery can do it for you if that's what you want.

I didn't say that at all, i was making a suggestion, i believe thats what this forum is for? It says nowhere what the max image limit is, and it would be better to have an image size limit
Yes thats what i want, this forum doesnt seem too lively, i was kinda looking for a forum like the one i came from but its proing more difficult than i imagined

I think you'll find the Administration have better things to do. The limit on the signature size is in the rules, the rules are followed by members, therefore its your responsibility to abide by the rules.

Right, if you're using FireFox right click the image and select 'Properties'. You'll get a screen like this:

Width is the first part of the dimensions (400 in this case) and height is the second part (140 in this case) giving: 400x140.

In Internet Explorer, right click the image and select Properties. You'll get a screen like this:

Dimensions (400x140 in this case) is Width: 400 and Height 140.

- Click here to return to the rules.
