6Form
I really want to stay on at 6Form when I leave, but you need to have 5 GCSE between A-C.
I had a year of school last year due to lots of problems.
When I came back at the beginning of year 11 I dropped most of my subjects.
I now only do English, Maths, Science which is a double award and DiDa ICT.
I am in top set English, 3rd Maths and 2nd Science.
I have so much coursework to do and doubt I'll get A-C.
Do you reckon they would give me a bit of a leeway(sp) because I had all that time off?
I really want to stay on

It's the 6Form at the school I'm all ready at thought, the teachers all love me and know about my time off.

There's no harm in asking. Don't ask, you don't get. Have you done any GNVQ's / BTEC first diplomas alongside your GCSE's? I dunno whether they do that in other schools, but they did that at ours, and they're worth a couple of GCSE's A-C Grade too.

Just work hard on the double award because that's worth two, right? and work hard on the ICT because ICT is a good qualification to have.

Ohh, do you mean you'll get some units still though? As long as you get a couple of units in that.

Yeh, good luck! Sounds like my idea of hell. Me and computers, we're not really best friends.

i don't see why not; have a word with someone at your school and ask them to write you a reference explaining your situation. it sounds like you're capable of doing well so you just need to prove that somehow.

I thought GCSEs were going to be really really hard but the only one i really found hard was History and i got an A in that.
It may look hard now but they are actually quite piss.
Thus you will probs get all the GCSEs you need.

I spoke to the teacher and he said in ICT I should come out with 4 C's.
So just need one more in either english maths or science.
English Im predicted B/C and my maths coursework was a B so its all good hopefully.
Even if I dont get the right grades. He said I can stay on in year 12 and join 6Form a year later which will take a year longer to get in but it will be worth the wait =]
