Kerry your applying for history right? Where are you having interviews? I only got one at Cambridge for history.
For me it was only a couple of people. They asked me about what I'd done on my course, what reading I'd done outside. The key is just to sound really enthusiastic.

To get back on topic, no you will probably not face a panel of 6 people. Be prepared to discuss anything you mentioned in your personal statement, and have a good general grounding in the subject you are applying for. If you are smart, you will be fine, it you're a fuckass you will end up at TVU where fuckasses belong.
