Work on a cruise or something. You will be by the sea, and you can probably do some catering stuff on there or something else, and still earning money. Plus you get to see and visit lots of countries and stuff.

Look on google for cruise ship jobs, I applied last year and got an interview for Southampton but never went down to it because it was too far

Well if you wait until your eighteen you can be a holiday rep/entertainer
Thats what I am doing..you go away for like 7 months though..apartment&food&drinks paid outta your wages and you still end up with like 700pounds..
When I was on holiday thats what the kids entertainer told me..and she said you don't need any qualifications, because she doesn't have any.

These jobs are extremely competitive, and more people don't get them than do. Especially those on cruise ships.
Speak to Markeh...hes an apprentice peon.

Doing Travel and Tourism at college would be a good start for anything regarding cruise ships, holiday etc.

Hmmm, I'd have thought becoming an expert in a specific speciality/skill was a better way to get onto cruise ships at anything approaching officer level?

Are you interested enough in the sea to be interested in merchant shipping?

I can't imagine being entertained by you or leaving my kids with you....
Mind you, I guess I'm not the cheap skanky package holiday type!

Yes. Does it mention the weeks spent on beaches in wild and wonderful ports or the fact you're travelling and at sea about 8 months a year?
