I'm going to York next year to do Maths, unless Warwick offer me a place, which I think is highly likely considering I got into my interview for English and explained that I wished to change course. Eek. If I don't get into Warwick it's okay though, because York has lots of ducks.

I changed my mind from English because I love reading, but like having the freedom to read what I want and I didn't really enjoy the critical interpretation side of it, plus I wasn't really interested in any career I could do with an English degree. Maths was the obvious choice after English because I really enjoy doing it and I've always found it comes pretty naturally.

I'm an Environmental Geography and Science student.

I study it because it is so interesting. I love studying the Earth and all it's geographical features and phenomena. It contains a lot of biology/chemistry and statistics and I like that because I love to work out complicated equations and formulas. I also love doing laboratory work as I get to carry out experiments and wear a lab coat, haha. The work is hard but it keeps me on my toes and I have a great passion for it.

Haha, I never got an Int 2 or Higher in maths, and my course at university is full of maths. It's my Achilles heel.

it's all greek to me. anything more advanced than adding or subtracting and i'm fucked. it was awful because you're technically not supposed to get into 6th form without at least a C in maths and they told me you cant go to university without one so i had to keep trying for it while i was doing my a levels.

my course is kinda weird.... In my first year I do loads of stuff- documentary, short films, tv studio, screen writing, cultural studies, animation, special effects, sound and web design.
Then I choose which ones I want to specialize in. I'm gonna do tv studio, sound, animation and special effects.

I want to work in the galleries of a tv studio, and also do free lance work on effects and sound in animation films.

People think my course is for dossers, but it's sooo much work, and you have to work really hard to keep up. I really like it.

Aye, It's all Greek to me as well. Although I'm starting to get better now as I have no option but to do it, otherwise I'll fall behind and fail. It just doesn't come naturally. Yeah I needed a B in higher mathematics to help get into university to do my course but I got a good grade in Geography so that compensated for me not getting a B at higher in maths.

I go to colllege (or uni as you call it) in wisconsin, and I study music. I plan on teaching band, but will be certified to teach ages 5-18ish. I don't know what age I want to teach yet though. I wanted to do music and teach because I find it very rewarding.. even if you have to put a lot in to get a lot out.

I'm sure you all knew that or care about education in wisconsin. ha.
