I get the day off.
I'm not too pleased though as I have my SATs coming up and I seriously need to revise and everything.

I nearly did, only have two lessons on Thursday, first lesson the teacher isn't in the union, and the second one was going to, but its 3 weeks before our A Level exam, so hes not going to.

I am not at school so I don't think there is a strike etc. Oh well.

Although it wouldn't really matter, because in theory our old teacher for that lesson could take it.

They're not allowing cover for striking teachers. That's what I heard anyway.

It's true.

Some of us were gonna go in and finish off our coursework or go to our important lessons because we have exams so soon, but we're not allowed in school because even if some teachers are there they can't cover striked lessons.

The person who could have covered it, used to teach us for that lesson (We have two Film Studies lessons a week, on on tuesday with one person, one on thursday with another person), but now we just have one (Who was going to be striking).

I think it shouldn't be allowed, if I was to strike or my step dad, we would get fired. And being so close to exams, it isn't fair on the kids at the school.
