There should be soon, perhaps in June, because I was checking my bank statement before and I had one around then a previous year when I was getting EMA.

If you work hard and behave etc, then your tutor signs the agreement thingy so that you get it.

You don't have to have 100% attendace. You can't have any unauthorised absences though.

Is it true that if you don't have a day off for a full term you get £100 ?
My college is fucked up, we don't get half terms or anything! just days of now and then.
I have only had 2 bonuses...How many can you actually get?

I've only ever got 2 in a year.
Just have to make sure that if you are off a day when you're meant to be in, that you are accounted for.

Oh I think per year, it's £200, and then there is some kind of bonus for getting EMA for a second year, so you get an extra £100, but I never got that because there was a break of a year between when I got it.

Ok, so when you start college in September you start receiving your EMA. If you're work is to standard, your attendance is acceptable and your college sign your sheet, you get a bonus (£100) in the January. Then you get another in the Summer (June-ish) if you are still up to scratch. If you choose to do a second year and claim EMA again, you get another £100 in the September for carrying on your education, then you get another in the January (again if you're signed off) and then you get a final £100 in the Summer if you finish your course.
Over the two years that adds up to £500 in bonuses. |

Yeah, but I'm at university, which means ever harder work and exams, and I'll be in a shit load of debt when I finish. So yeah, college students get it easy.
