Has anyone seen this? If you haven't, it's showing on Film Four at the moment, so next times it's on you should watch it.
It's directed by Shane Meadows, and Paddy Considine, who also plays the lead role, wrote the screenplay.
Richard (Paddy) returns from the army to his hometown, and takes revenge on some men who bullied his younger brother Anthony while he was away. At first he tries to intimidate them, he doesn't do anything too serious, but soon he, well...becomes controlled by vengeance I guess.
The acting is brilliant, particularly from Paddy, who gives one of the most intimidating performances I've ever seen! Especially that one line at the beginning...arghh. I jumped. If you've seen it you should know what I mean.
