Oh yes. Forget about PotC2 and whatnot, this baby is the film to watch this year.

Naw, an action film but it'll have comedy touches. Everyone involved knows there's no way you can make a serious film about snakes on a plane.

This film is the fucking BOMB.
The hype surrounding it for months has been so totally spot on, it's one of the best films I've seen in absolutely ages. The best this year, without a doubt.
It has such an awesome mix. The action is actually really good, the story whilst obviously a bit far fetched isn't as silly as you'd expect, the dialouge is extremely funny, the characters are developed fairly well over such a short time and there's a decent ammount of nudity/gore to give it a feel of one of those old cheesey 80 horror flicks.
It never takes itself too seriously and as a result it's just a damn fun film to watch. I had realllyyy high expectations and they were all met without a doubt.
OH! And you MUST see this in the cinema, because that's half the experience. Everyone was laughing, screaming and clapping all the way through. It made the experience so much more enjoyable and really brought the film to life. When Samuel L Jackson's catchphrase finally made an appearance ('I've had it with these MOTHERFUCKING snakes, on this MOTHERFUCKING plane..') I'd never heard such a big clap in a cinema. Haha.
Man, I want to see it again already...

Well, it's not the fucking BOMB, but it's at least the fucking PARTY-POPPER.
It's obviously trash, but it knows it's trash, and so they were smart enough to make it pretty funny too. I thought Kenan from Kenan and Kel was no more, but after seeing this motherfuckin' film I find myself wanting him to win an Oscar and star in Die Hard 4.
