I just found this out the other day, but Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is going to be split into two parts!

I'm over the moon as they will be be able to put in a lot more detail and not have to sacrifice as much of the plot as the films normally do.

It is going to be directed by David Yates, but I would much prefer it being directed by Alfonso Cuarón. I think he would be much better because he made the Prisoner of Azkaban really dark compared to the others. He changed the costumes, the settings and even the music was different; all of this helped create a dark and foreboding atmosphere which I think is vital for the upcoming films.

I can't wait. I really hope the films do the book justice, seeing as the Deathly Hallows is one of the best out of the series.

Yes I read about this in the Daily Star, I am really happy too, I hate it when you read a book, and then go to the film for them to miss out vital bits!
I also love watching my imagination of a book come to life. Cant wait!!

Yeah, Daniel Radcliffe said he must be the only kid in the world whos glad this is the last book. I think he must get sick of the label of Harry Potter. I don't understand how people who take on such a important role, get so bothered and quit to "spread their wings" only to come back unsuccessful, if somethings going right..stick with it. If I make it as a actress I certainly wont quit..Sarah of Corrie wants to come back already.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I didn't much like the first half of the book that much and I can see the first film being kind of boring. I suppose it'd be really hard to cram the whole thing into just over a couple of hours, but I'd hate to think that there's going to be one film full of not a lot happening, and then one film that's pretty much just a great big fight.

Oh well. I've thought the films have been getting progressively better as they've gone on, so hopefully that'll continue.

Such a shame about Maggie Smith, though. She's so awesome. I feel compelled to go and watch all the DVDs that I've got with her in right now.

Yeah I know what you mean, the first half of the book was them travelling and hiding around the country, and that dragged on for aaages.

It'll be nice having the extra detail, but it'll cut up the story abit and have a massive gap in between, plus be double the price.

Ooo I'm so glad they are finishing all the films. I read somewhere a while back that Daniel Radcliffe didn't want to finish them.

I don't know how I feel about making it into two films though. Like what Kirstie said, I think the first half might be slightly boring. And I wonder would there be a long gap between the first and second part. It would kinda suck if there was.
