So I was at the moviestore with my boyfriend, we rented We Own The Night but a movie caught my eye that I had to look up when I got home. Dedication is a movie about a neurotic, obsessive-compulsive childrens book author who is hiding from everything. I watched this online and fell in love.
Crudup is an incredible actor and is top of the list when it comes to actors who I think are underrated (Joaquin Phoenix also is a member of said list). He is AMAZING as Henry, and as terrible and mean as Henry can be, he is realistic and adorable and honestly - I'm crushing hardcore.
The only thing that disappointed me was the lack of story given to both Moore and Crudup. The story itself is great, but it needed backstory. It could have definitely been a 2h30 film. Easily.
