Since it's started again, it seems like a good time to make a new thread about it.

Did anyone watch last night's episode? Donna wasn't as annoying as she was in the Christmas Special a couple of years back, but I'm still not too keen on her. I'm half hopeful that she'll grow on me, but at the same time a big part of me wants to keep hating her.

I thought last night's story was a bit rubbish and if it hadn't been the first one just introducing things again I'd have been soooo disappointed. BUT (Spoiler)ROSE IS BACK!!! I didn't think she was coming back until the later episodes, but she was there. I really had to contain my excitement when I saw her, but then she just disappeared again. I really want to know what's going on with that. I bet it's ages before we find out though.

Anyway, I hope I'm not the only person here sad enough to have watched it with so much enthusiasm!

I completely forgot it was on, but my dad recorded it on the sky plus box. Unfortunately, I'm back at uni now so I won't get a chance to watch it. I did catch the last 15 minutes but it didn't look all that good, the aliens were cute and all but I like it far more when they are gruesome looking. I hate Catherine Tate, so it may take me a while to get used to her. Rose will always be the best, and that black person was quite good as well.

Yeah, you didn't miss much. It's probably one of the worst storylines of the recent series, but I think I was pleasantly surprised about being able to tolerate Catherine Tate without too much effort. I can't help wondering if anyone actually likes her. Everyone I've spoken to about her being in Doctor Who has said that she's rubbish.

And Tamsin, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the aliens were super cute! It would have been so much better if there'd been a really big nasty one at some point, though!

It wasn't the best, but I find when he gets a new assistant it never is, takes a few episodes to get to the good stuff.

I liked episode two. I thought the eyes drawn on the back of the hands were freaky when they held them up to their faces. I almost cried at the end, though. *blush*

Still hate Donna.
