ive been in several and as much it kinda sucked at the time it didnt bother me that much; like it just felt normal i'd get beat on one day and then it was fine until the following week and that just went on and on. there was no mental abuse or nothing they never made me feel shit about myself they just liked to take their anger out on my face or whatever. it's only now looking back i cant believe i put up with that shit but during it was just an annoying thing i'd have to endure once in a while. idt it went on quite long enough to have a rly bad effect. it defo made me harder but i'm not sure that's such a good thing.

No, I think the problem starts when you let it drag on, as soon as the first bit of abuse kicks in, let the person know you're a strong person who won't be disrespected and leave. People tend to abuse partners they see as 'weak' or easily imtimidated who won't stand up to them.

No it's just they wait until you love them and feel like you can't live without them and then it starts.

By this time love has fucked you up so much that you belive you'd rather be with them and unhappy than without them.

I've had both, mental and physical.. the physical stuff only happened if he was on drugs though..

the mental abuse was so much worse, i prefered a smack in the face than all the taunts and nasty things he said about me.
