I just kinda flew past the last few pages didn't read it all.
I'm just going to comment on the doctor call out bit....Lol, My mother would have more chance of winning the lottery than getting her doctor to come to our house for a house visit. The doctor in question is so over worked it's funny. Even when you get an appointment you know you've got a 3 hour wait even if you turn up on time.
I suppose there are loads of things she could do, but smoking is just easier, and she enjoys it. I don't see any reason why she would take all of that time out of her life and try and try to set up home visits, go doctors and wait 3 hours for medication.
And at the end of the day, she and my self don't care what people think. I'm not making excuses for her, she doesn't just do it for medical use, she does it because she enjoys it too. She does it mainly for fun, but when she has a bad back, instead of going on a three hour trip to the doctors, which i might add is very hard for her to do seeing as she has crohn's disease. When her back hurts she just smokes a load of weed, gets stoned, eats a load, and goes to sleep.
No hassle, no drama, simple solution.
If that makes her a junky, then my mother is a junky.

I completely agree with you Mandy, I hate people like that as well. It's bad enough that she is doing it, but it's even more disgusting that she tried to defend it.

So if you had kids, you'd automaticly stop coming on message boards, just because you have kids?
Just because someone spends some time on a forum it doesn't make them bad parents(I'm not using the person in question as an example).
Plus, devoting 10 mins on a forum leaves far more time than most other "REAL" interactions with people which would involve meeting people and spending time away from home which in most cases(but not all) would leave more time away from the kids.
Just for the record, i don't agree with drug taking, or even smoking while pregnant.

Tbh I've seen her on for a lot more than 10 minutes, I was on for 2-3 hours, and she was on the whole time as well.
(I'm a student with no kids...I'm allowed to stay online all day) xD |

I'm looking forward to peoples opinion on certain drugs in a year or so when they have been legalised.
Cannabis will almost certainly be legalised and i'm sure ecstasy will be too, The government said it's dangerous but just doesn't have the proof to back it's claims up, out of the 500,000 people who take it every weekend(I'd personally assume it's far higher) in the UK, only 10 people a year die, and that's in connection with other drugs.
Quite a few MP's are starting to speak out about this now i think it's only a matter of time.
