The government has been criticised by one of its own experts over plans to charge for plastic bags. Is curbing the number or plastic bags the best way to tackle environmental issues?

You can buy special bags like that at most supermarkets that you can reuse. They should just sell those on their own.

DAVE! why should you? because plastic bags are such a waste! Just keep them in your car.. (well if you have one).

the cloth bags here are only $1. Totally worth it. I only have 3, and they are huge and can fit all your groceries in them.. and they don't rip!

Asda are starting to charge 5p for the bags now.

Ikea bags are the best
