If people will be violent towards paramedics, then the paramedics should just leave it.

I guess I sort of agree with you two other people, but I also kind of think that, you know, if people are drunk or something, but be being aggressive because they're off their face, and they might actually need medical attention, in which case the paramedics couldn't really just refuse to treat them, could they? I dunno what they could do instead though. I mean, don't they take police with them to callouts if they are possibly dangerous, or something? So besides that. I guess they could attach a special police unit to paramedics or something?

I don't think that paramedics should be allowed to not treat just if someone is being rude.. but they should be protected.
Its like a doctor. I still want a doctor to treat me if i'm having unsafe sex and getting STDs. Could you imagine... ? Doctor: "I'm sorry, I think you are being rude and ignorant, I'm not goign to treat you."
lol

Their injury would probably be related to the fact that they are off their face anyway.
Also the police shouldn't be tied up with having to go with ambulance's all the time.

So based on that statement, they're denied treatment? That's backward thinking. Not only does it contradict everything a paramedic or anyone in the health service stands for, a person cannot simply look at another person who is injured and in pain and deny them treatment because their 'off their face', humans just aren't inhumane as that.
