I'd so much rather talk on the phone than typing it. And I've never texted anyone so... I'm rather behind on the technology.
I think in general people don't face to face talk much anymore. quite sad.

No, social networking sites or telephones will never replace face-to-face conversation. The world is split into three types of people: people who don't have technology (third world countries), people who have technology but prefer face-to-face communication and people who have technology and base communication on that medium.
Personally, I fall inbetween the last two. I don't text, I hate phoning people and I very rarely communicate through social networking sites but I do use MSN an awful lot. I do prefer talking to people face-to-face (obviously) but owing to the fact I'm a very introverted person, a lot of people see me as being very arrogant and snobby, which I'm not (sometimes).

I'm very shy in real life, so I don't like talking to people one-on-one in real life. It's really awkward and I can't talk properly. But yeah, some people are depending too much on technology but personally I can't care too much.

I can talk to people face-to-face, that I know reasonably well, otherwise I'm a little bit shy.
I don't like phone calls all that much.
I text occasionally, but not lots.
Might respond to the odd message or two on a social networking site.

most people in UK cant speak or verbally communicate properly. I blaim schooling and its lack of focus on the matter, or maybe its just the society?!
Americans however suprising excell at verbal convo, even though most of it is b/s, its suprising coherent b/s

I don't know about the UK folk, but around here in the US.. so many people use double negatives etc. Mostly the older generations though.. hmm..?
