Are you on a regular cycle? Do you know when to expect it? I don't mean like you know when to expect it in the few days leading up because you start getting the pre-menstrual symptoms (tenderness of the girls, cramps, headaches, whatever) I mean like do you know the dates of when to expect it because you're on such a regulated pattern? Because I have no idea of when to expect it and it's very annoying to have it always popping up out of nowhere and I wanna know if there's any ways I can get it so I know when it's coming. I started marking it on my calendar for about 2 and a half months but it seemed to be all over the place and was no help whatsoever so I dropped that.

before birth control, i used to be pretty regular. every 35ish days i feel. But i didn't get my period till i was like 15, and then it took a while for it to become regular like that. a number of things can make a period irregular.. like stress, diet, fitness.

I don't think there is a way of changing it, besides making sure you are healthy and relaxed

how long did that take? because i'm 15 going on 16 in may and I've had my period since I was 12. So almost four years and its still all over the placeee

Uhm I dont know the exact day, but i know around the day..
But my mums due on now..and we are usually together but I am possitive I'm not due on for 2 weeks cause' I can remember using a tampon like last week and thinking I will be on for christmas.

Well I'm on the pill so I pretty much know the exact date. It's what I LOVE about the pill, I feel lost not knowing.

Chloe, I think with everything happening in your life at the minute, you'd be pretty lucky to have a good eating pattern, good sleeping pattern & regular periods!

I think it took me a few years to get regular, ha. But i really think it has to do with being stressed.

Also, girls who have low body fat sometimes get their period irregularly or not at all. I'm not saying thats you, but diet does have an important part.

Mine went through phases.. it started off really regular, then it got all stupid and I missed periods and got 2 in a month and stuff. That happened for quite a while.. then it got so so regular and great for about a year maybe. Like on the same date give or take a day or 2 every month. Recently it got a bit worse again but now I'm on the pill so it doesn't matter.

Stress deffo makes it less regular. I've noticed that quite a few times.

Mine are kinda regular, I guess. I'm pretty shit with dates, but I know 'cause I start to feel abit rough etc.

I reckon it might be 'cause your under alot of strees and stuff though. See if you can get on the pill, or something that might even it out abit?

The longest mine has ever been regular since the age of 14 is 3 months.

Some months I don't even have them.

My periods are fucked up, they come whenever they please. Sometimes I come on like twice a month.

I am in agony on mine, like i was crying the other day in bed alll day it last for about 2 days the pain then its just heavy and out of no-where the go..and com back but I am usually on for about 7/8 days.

mine is freaky regular, like the same time of day each time and everything.

although sometimes it's late if I'm nervous about something, like exams or a scary thing.

But that's cos of the pill. Before that I just had to be prepared. I had red sheets, but that was for different reasons.

I started my period when i was like 11 and recently they were really irregular so i went to the doctors and i found out i had something and they put me on the pill and it is a few more days and i guess i will get my period i dont know it is weird and i don't get it.
you should just go on the pill.
