Right well I came on this month on Thursday/Friday and have been wearing super PLUS tampons because its heavy..as usual..But I keep coming through?
Usually I wear super ones..but I bought these at Scunthorpe, and I know its minging but when I take them out they are like urgh upto the string all clotted and stuff.. I know its totally disgusting to talk about..but I really don't want to go on the pill because I cant swallow tablets..I mean shouldn't the period calm down like? I am going to be like this on Christmas and everything
I'm not even wearing the tampons past the exceeding time capacity.
Does anybody else get this?
I am only in pain for like a day..so its not painful..Its just the amount of blood loss.

The pill actually lightens periods Mich. Even though you hate taking tablets. It might be worth it.

No..well sometimes like..but yesterday I have on in for four hours..and when I took it out it was disgusting..and then when i wiped it was the biggest clot i have ever seen in my life. urgh. I feel gross just talking about it.

You probley should change them more often, try two hours if you are that heavy.

It might be heavy because you are still 'settling' in to them if you get me...

You might be anemic in which case you need pills.

2 people I know had periods for 3 weeks a month and then got one off and HAD to go on the pill lol.

I have a problem swallowing pills too pet, but these pills are soo so tiny that even I can take them, and that's saying a lot!! you should maybe give them a try, they can make your periods lighter.
Also if theres an event that you really need to be off your period for, you can control it. Shouldn't do that often though.

When i wasn't on the pill my periods were so heavy that i could have the biggest tampon and a half hour later i could take it out and it would be all full and icky. but ya the pills are tiny mine are like O that big

if you don't want to go on the pill, don't. I don't think it should be turned to for every problem.

I think thats normal. I used to have heavier periods, and I'd have to change it so much. ha, ew. But yeah, the clots are normal too. ask your mom maybe she's had similar experiences. I'd wait and see if this happens again on your next period, then think about talking to your doctor. IMO, i don't think it sounds like something to be concerned with.

Right I had all the clots..like last night it was like urghh and now today..I went out and changed my tampon when i got back and its fine? Like hardly full?

My periods are very heavy too! Im in bed for a day crunched up in pain and being sick. I went to the docs and he prescribed me with the pill, periods got better but I broke out in spots eurghh. So I came off and he gave me something called transemic acid, and you take them a day before you come on your period.

They've calmed down abit now but def go see the doc about it.

yeah.. the whole heavy one second, light the next day happened with me. I think its normal. You are just loosing blood not as evenly spread out throughout the week as maybe you used too.

tbh, unless you are getting light headed, or other symptoms, OR unless you are worried about your health because of it, I wouldn't go on the pill just for that. thats me though.

This happens to me too. Cant you like cahnge the tampon every hour or so or use pads???
