Hair
So it's my prom in a couple of months (June time) and I really need to decide how to do my hairrr. I'm really not sure whether I should just get it cut the day before or something and wear it down and straight, or get it in loose curls and down but I feel like that'd look stupid with my full fringe. :/ I don't really want to have it up though because I hate when my hair is off my face haha but yeah, I'm not sure.
Girls, and boys if you really must, opinions/advise please?

If your hairdresser nice?
'Cause you could ask them which styles they think would suit you.
You could always have you fringe to the side if you have curls.

i think you could have loose curls starting quite far down, you know like, kinda soft looking? that would look really pretty and your fringe wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb then, ya know
whats your dress like?

Ahhhh Brit your hair looked gorgeouss, I remember when you posted them pics a while agooo But my hair's too long to have anything like that.
Yeahh that sounds good PF. My hairdresser said I should just try out the curly hair before the prom, and if I like it to have it like that. I don't want my fringe to the side though, I absolutely hateee it off my face haha. And my layers are too short to have flicked out Rubyy, they'd just be all fly away and urgh.
My dress is wayyyy over the top:

My hair at the time of my prom was about shoulder length. MY hairdressed just set them in rollers for really tight curls. As for the finger wave you can do it, and it wont keep your fringe OFF your face, or to the side, it will just shape the fringe nicely.
I think you could pull off a fingerwaved top and volumnous curls at the bottom, like this

Ahhhh Brit I'd love to be able to pull of hair like that it's gorgeousss but I don't think I have the face for it. You need to have all the pretty delicate features and that and I just haven't, I guess I could ask my hairdresser about it though and see what she thinks 'cause it's ace.

Yeah that dress is gorgeous Billie. I think though, with the ruffles in the dress, straight hair would look better as a contrast.
However ask your hairdressers opinion. And also ask a few friends, cause we don't really know you, or what you're comfortable in.
Maybe you're friends could advise you.
I'm sure curls would look quite nice but with that dress straight hair would look better I think. Maybe if you got a pair of straightners and started at the root curling your hair once under, just once. Then release. That would give volume at the root and a comprimise of curls and straight hair. Have a mess around yourself to see what you like best. There's no point dressing for somebody else! And besides, you only get your prom once!
