Since my Gran has been going into hospital because she has it or something ( I don't speak to her anymore)
I have decided to post a self examination, because alot of people don't know how. It affects males too.
-- Place your right arm above your head, use the tips of your fingers on your left hand to feel for lumps in your right breast, press pretty firmly. A firm ridge in the lower curve of each breast is normal.
-- Always examine your breasts the same way. Work either from the outside to around the nipple or start from around your nipple and work out. This will reduce the chances of you missing something.
-- Work to remember how your breast feels from month to month. The goal is to become familiar with what lumps and bumps are there from month to month so you can tell if a new one is forming or if one seems to be getting bigger.
-- Check at least once a month and keep the same process for each breast.

My mom had breast cancer, and so does one of my aunts.
I used to think no one does those examinations, but really, breast cancer is so common now a days, catch it early
Good post markeh <3

my mum has just finished all her treatment for breast cancer. All men and women should check for breast cancer regularly, and if anything feels odd, go get it checked out! Better to be safe than sorry.
if anyone who has a relative, (male or female) and wants to talk, feel free to email me =).

Because the breast is composed of identical tissues in males and females, breast cancer can also occur in males.

WTF? Way to be insensitive you cocknose.
Just because someone else on the boards might have taken you the wrong way, doesn't mean you should say things like that.
God help you if that's the way you talk in real life...
