Even if you don't like metal, the instrumentals and vocals are amazing. As seen in almost all of their songs, it's amazing how Mikael Åkerfeldt can switch instantly from heavy metal/growling to slow, acoustic passages with clean, almost whispered vocals. If you appreciate good music, then you'll like this.

@asda.. I used to be into this type of music, but I find that it can't hold my interest very long anymore. I don't know if its because I've been submersed into "classical" music, that most other music seems less interesting. (ha, i sound so lame).
This song does have a pretty clean sound. They are pretty tight. I'm not really into the screaming, unless I'm attending a haunted house. I totally used to be though. OH, how I've grown, lol.

Haha, fair enough. I'm real glad you gave it a listen though. Mikael Åkerfeldt is such a brilliant musician that no matter what genre of music you listen to, you can still appreciate his talent and progressive music style. One of the albums is even completely full of clean singing, no growling involved at all. If you get a chance, listen to this as well:

I already love classical music, haha. I'm rather fond of the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Getting me more into Jazz wouldn't be a bad thing, though.

Saying I'm obsessed with this song would be the biggest understatement of the century, but right now I'm currently in love with F.E.A.R by Ian Brown. I know it's ancient, but it's only now that my love has been reinvigorated for it.
