Has anyone heard of them? They're a Japanese rock/metal band and they are absolutely brilliant. They released a new album, Uroboros, two weeks ago I believe and I've not been able to stop listening to it since. They were featured in Metal Hammer magazine and the review said they had blends of System of a Down, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails and countless other bands, and they're not wrong. If you put all the major rock/metal bands today in a blender, Dir en grey would be the result of that. Their music is unique, creepy, mesmerising and chilling and this may be to accompany the lyrics which centre around sexual obsession, love and violence in negative overtones.

The video is abit creepy, but really artistic as well, the uncut version even more so. You can really pick out the 'sexual obsession, love and violence in negative overtones' parts in it.

I started watching it last night randomly actually. But as I was a lil high, it just creeped the hell out of me. It was all too much for my tastes.

Sweet, I'm glad you guys gave it a listen. Yeah, the video is real creepy, but as Becky said, really artistic as well. If you get a chance, buy their new album, it's ace.
