Default Doctors

Okay I went the doctors today..
and since I really hate the doctors I haven't been for a few years, and I had a bunch of stuff I was concerned about..

and I will tell you what and tell you what she said to me!
also t-a-l-k-i-n-g-t-o-m-e-l-i-k-e-i-w-a-s-f-i-v-e

1. Excessive sweating.
"I am concerned its a constant thing, whether I am doing nothing it doesn't make a difference..In college today I was the only person sweating even people bigger than me weren't.."

"everybody sweats..its natural"

2. Diabetes

"I think I may have diabetes, I have gained weight out of no where and constantly thirsty..my mum reckons it may be type two.."

"Diabetes is rare, I doubt you have that."

3. Bladder weakness
"I feel like i am weeing myself, with this constant bladder weakness.."
-she never even answered me for this actually-

then I mentioned like my skin and periods and she gave me the pill or something?
That was the only thing she bothered with..

I know its loads but it shouldn't really matter..She told me I was a worrier..and did I think I was.. and I said no.. so she said what are you concerned about..

And I said..The sweating and bladder weakness, which I originally came for..
and then i couldn't be assed..took the stupid pill and left.

It really shouldn't matter if I had a list of things I was concerned about.. I have been worried for months, but I just felt palmed off..and she was like " do you want to talk with mum about this"
so i was like "Its nothing to do with my mum. I am me!"
Grr.

so what I NEED help with has been ignored and gr ~@

I CANT EVEN SWALLOW TABLETS.

No. Asda I am actually being serious.
I weren't assed about the diabetes.. My mum just said to mention it.

The sweating and skin is a obvious issue I have..
and obviously I know how weak my own bladder is.
I don't need a prescription to tell me that It leaks.

and my periods..if you call 7-8 day super tampon periods normal then I guess you are right.

request another doctor.

always bugs me why doctors are so eager to prescribe the pill. it's not the answer to every menstruation related problem fgs. could be anything from a magnesium/iron deficiency to endometritis but they've never asked me for so much as a blood test. it's always;
them: do you want to go on the pill?
me: no thanks.
them: ok then. is there anything else i can help you with?

BLEH.

She said I could get a blood test and urine sample..If I really wanted to...even though she doubts I will hear back 'cause she doubts anything is wrong..

She made me feel like I am stupid for even thinking anything was wrong, but laura just told me these symptoms and and I seriously have them all :/

I didn't like her one bit.

Same here. Ranting about it isn't going to help, is it?

meh, ranting can help. Sometimes people just need to vent frustration.. and reassure to themselves, they are not alone! Anyways.. about the sweating thing? She shouldn't have pushed it off like its not a big deal (I totally understand how life consuming thinking about it can be haha). Sweating is normal, but when someone comes in wanting help, you can't just give "its normal" as a solution. They make perscription deoderant for a reason.. which you should get, its super helpful!

I'm just concerned now that, if this blood test comes back negative for my sweating..that she wont do anything for me..But I know theres something not right.

I would've shouted at her they are there to do their job not just ignore what the patient is saying..Id make a complaint aswell.

The pills are really really tiny so you shouldn't have a problem with those?

That's really unlucky. My doctors are so nice and helpful.

Deffo go back and see someone else so you can stop worrying.

Did she give you Dianette? That's meant to be the best one for skin problems and I've seen them and they are so so tiny.. even if you can't swallow tablets you should be able to do it. Just take a drink of water and It'll be gone. If you're serious about making your skin better then you'll just have to bear it
