no, it's really hard to control and unreliable, and even if you do pull out, precum can get you pregnant. stick to condoms or the pill or something, pulling out doesn't work.

well, if you're on the pill you don't need to pull out, that's the point of going on the pill. and the pill's effective about ... 98% of the time, or something ... and if you take it regularly when you should, and don't throw up or anything immediately afterwards, you shouldn't have to pull out.

if you miss a day, shouldn't you know? because you didn't take it? you mean if you forget?
then yeah, there's a risk, but then you can always take the morning after pill, because that works for up to 72 hours afterwards.
if you want, you can pull out, but it will most likely make no difference, because of unreliability and precum. if you're really worried, i would use condoms, but i'm assuming that that's what you're trying to avoid by going on the pill?

yeah, then the morning after pill should stop you getting pregnant for the 72 hours after you have sex. also, i'm not sure, but even if you forget that it might still be ok if you've only missed one pill or something, because the hormone levels should still be high enough, but it's probably not worth risking it!

thats what i dooo and so far i haven't gotten preggers. i don't think missing a day does anything to you though, and precum is so small and since you're on the pill it probably doesn't make that much of a difference. uh. ya.

Bad advice! aww, haha, people always say.. "it hasn't happened to me, it must be okay". But everyone says that, then one day, you do get pregnant. Missing doses of your pill, or if you don't take it at the same time every day can really make the pill less than the 98% everyone thinks it is.

it's not bad advice, i'm not telling her to go out and have sex whenever she misses her pill, i'm just saying that since she only missed a day she probably won't get pregnant, and being on the pill and him pulling out makes it even less of a chance..

True, you didn't say to go and have sex. Nake nake SHOULD be smarter than that, BUT relying on the pull out method and BC used not properly doesn't exactly scream saftey. Thats just me though, I'm NOT having children right now, haha.

I can't remember who told me, I am sure it was my doctor...but anyway, whoever it was said, if you miss the pill once. Then theres no point in taking it again because you've messed the whole month up? and in order for it to work as protection, you have to take it the exact same time everyday. I don't know if thats true, but I just thought I would mention it.
