I don't know what to do...

I met this guy when I started college in September last year.
I knew I liked him straight away and I told him I liked him, he didn't have a problem with it and we just stayed mates.
In march his girlfriend dumped him and he was gutted but then in april me and him met up and...well stuff happened.
Then the next day he apologized and said he was on rebound and that he was really sorry for hurting me..we agreed to put it behind us and stay mates...but about a month ago he stopped speaking to me, ignores me and well basically hates me.

But the thing is I fell in love with him and I can't get over him until I find out WHY he hates me...But he won't tell me..
What can I do?
It's actually got me down that much soo many times i've cried over it...

Approach him when he's by himself, tell him that you need to talk to him and then just tell him how you feel, explain how he's been acting and how it goes against his promise, then try and find a solution that both of you are happy with. If he doesn't have feelings for you then you can't push in that direction at all really, so know what you're willing to settle for

Catch him when he is alone and make sure you speak to him in person. You need to just look him in the eyes and ask what happened. Explain what you think has happened and make sure he knows how you feel about it. Dont push him into anything but ask what he wants from here on out.

just accept it......its the only way ur gonna get over him...if he said he was just using you on the re-bound...is he really worth all the pain?

there are different stages that you will encounter. first is denial. well i've been there a lot of times. what i did is to focus with my dreams, helping mah parents coz i'm the only child of the family. just focus on your dreams. but don't forget that acceptance is the first thing to do. you deserve something better.
