Well if the Mariah Carey performing on Broadway wasn’t crazy enough of a story, here is an even worse story.
The hit television show Baywatch is going to be made into a feature length film. And guess who is going to star? If your answer is Pamela Anderson you are dead wrong because apparently even Pamela Anderson knows that a Baywatch movie is a bad idea. Instead stepping into her role will be…Jessica Simpson. Someone please shoot me now.
Anyway so Jessica will be set to wear the infamous red swimsuit which Pamela Anderson wore in the show which launched Anderson to become a household name. A source told the British publication the Sun that Jessica Simpson really caught people’s attention in The Dukes of Hazzard and was the unanimous choice for the Baywatch role. The source continues on by saying Jessica has all the assets (basically a nice set of breasts and nice behind) to make Pam’s part her own.
Producers are still trying to get a hold of David Hasselhoff so he can star in the film and reprise his role as Mitch Buchannon.
No start date of production has been announced. I just hope Hasselhoff turns down this film so the idea will be scraped because this sounds horrific.
