Another Da Vinci Code movie?

Well even though critics hated The Da Vinci Code, the world loved it and went to see it this past weekend. The movie has now grossed about 225 Million worldwide. Needless to say after Sony has seen the huge box office numbers, they have already decided that another Da Vinci Code must be made. So today, Sony Pictures has announced they are planning to release an adaptation of “Angels and Demons” which is pretty much the prequel to the Da Vinci Code. “Angels and Demons” is still about the same character Robert Langdon who was played by Tom Hanks in the current movie. The story is similar because it again involves a secret society and familiar situations. This project at the moment is just announced but many say it will be made without a date. Now so far there is no news saying if Ron Howard will be back in the directors Chair or if Tom Hanks will return as Robert Langdon but I bet if the price is right they will be both on board. Lets see how the movie does this next weekend because if it holds strong, the prequel will probably be green lit very soon.
