Another Horror Remake Alert

After the Omen and Black Christmas remake flopped at the box office, one would think that Hollywood would learn a lesson that maybe Horror movies should not be remade. Well obviously the studio executives at Sony and Paramount didn’t get that memo since they are in talks to big up the April Fool’s Day remake. The Butcher Brothers the guys who made After Dark have signed on to write the remake. The plot for the original film focused on 8 friends who gather at a mansion and one by one they get killed as their secrets are revealed. While no one knows anything else about the project as of yet, one thinks that if big studios like Sony and Paramount want to make this film it will definitely be green lit within the next few weeks or months. In the meantime, feel free to watch the original 80s version which I am sure will be better than the remake and that’s no joke.
