Batman Begins Sequel news and title

Just a few days ago I reported that it was rumored that Heath Ledger would play the part of the Joker in the sequel to Batman Begins. Well I am here today to annouce that the rumor around Ledger is absolutely true and I for one am very interested in seeing how Heath Ledger will pull off the role as the Joker. To top off the Batman news this weekend, the title for the sequel is going to be The Dark Knight. Director Chrisopher Nolan will be back in the directing chair and most of the original cast including Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and of course Christian Bale are set to be back reprising their roles from the original film. Production for the Dark Knight will begin in early 2007 and probably be released in summer of 2008. I for one am very excited about the sequel and look forward to seeing it when its released.
