Well on Monday the film Dreamgirls which stars Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx, and Beyonce had its world premiere in New York City. The film has now received rave reviews and many critics have claimed the film to be one of the best films of the year. The first critic to review the film was Jack Mathews who is a critic for the New York Daily News. In his reviews he says that the surprisingly best thing about Dreamgirls is Jennifer Hudson who many don’t know or remember was a contestant on the television show American Idol. Jack states that her performance is nothing short of Oscar Worthy and he was stunned to see how great she was in the film. Other news regarding the screening was that critics and everyone in the theater loved it and rumor has it that the film got a standing ovation when it ended.
