First Borat, Now Bruno

Well we are less than a week away from when the movie “Borat” hits theaters. Personally I Haven’t decided if I wanted to see this film yet although critics has been hailing it as the best comedy in years. I think it looks funny but I don’t know if I could stand 90 minutes of this weird guy based on a skit from the Da Ali G Show.
Well if you are already fans of Ali G or Sacha Baron Cohen I have good news for you because the Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Cohen’s next film will be called “Bruno.”
The “Bruno” movie will be all about the misadventures of the gay Austrian fashionista from “Da Ali G Show.”
Universal officially bought the rights to the film for $42 million which I just find to be an absurd amount for a comedy. But so far they already got a producer on board which will be Jay Roach the man who directed “Meet the Parents.” There is no word on who will direct “Bruno” as of yet.
Cohen hopes that the film will start shooting in the summer of 2007 but has no location at this time where he wants to shoot the film.
