Hitman: The Movie has begun

Hitman is a very popular video game series. Well like all popular video game series, there is going to be a really bad movie based on the game. This time Fox has announced that the production of Hitman has officially begun in Sofia, Bulgaria this week. The film will star Timothy Olyphant, Dougray Scott, Olga Kurylenko, Robert Knepper, Ulrich Thomsen, and Michael Offei. Who are these actors? Beats the hell out of me but I guess they are trying to keep the budget down by having a no name cast.
The plot for the film is rumored to be about Agent 47 played by Olyphant. Agent 47 has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire. The plot heats up when Agent 47 becomes the hunted when he gets caught up in a political takeover. This is when Interpol as well as the Russian military chase the Hitman access Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who was behind this set up and why they are trying to kill him. But the plot only thickens further when it is learned that the greatest threat to 47’s survivals lies in the hands of his conscience and his unfamiliar emotions that he has for a beautiful but somewhat damaged girl.
Wow this sounds way to complex for a video game movie. Anyway, there is no planned release date for the film as of yet since it just started production this week but I am sure it will be released sometime in the year 2008.
