Hugh Jackman has been earning some serious kudos points from me over the past year by starring in great movies like “Scoop” and “The Prestige.” Now Jackman is working with the writer and producer of the hit television series “24” to create the spy thriller “The Amateur” for 20th Century Fox.
Even Katz will be writing the script for the feature film which is based on the Robert Littell novel. Jackson will be the producer of the film as well as the lead role. “The Amateur” will set as a remake for the film “Amateur” which was made way back in 1981 and starred John Savage and Christopher Plummer.
Jackman will play a CIA Cryptographer whose fiancée is murdered in a suspicious plane crash. As Jackman’s character investigates he soons discovers that the plane was brought down by terrorists and now seems revenge. I heard and seen this plot before but its been a long time since we seen a movie about terrorists especially after 9/11.
