Indiana Jones 4 will be delayed.

Well it looks as though Indiana Jones 4 will be delayed. The film was originally suppose to start shooting in a few months and be released on May 23, 2007 but it seems that it no longer the case. Steven Spielberg talked with Fox News at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party who stated that since he had such a rough year and directed two films in 2005 those being War of the Worlds and Munich that he plans on taking a break from directing until 2007.
During his break, Spielberg is said to spend his time developing his Abe Lincoln biopic as well as come up with ideas for Indiana Jones 4. Another problem that seems to keep occurring is the script. George Lucas hated the script that Frank Darabont wrote and asked for another writer. So they got another writer Jeff Nathanson who wrote another script for the film that Lucas loved but Speilberg hated. They are hoping that the new writer attached David Keopp will write a good script that everyone will enjoy equally.
So don’t expect to see Indiana Jones 4 in theaters until 2008 at the earliest depending on if Spielberg and Lucas can agree on a script.
