Is Die Hard 4 finally going to start production?

For years it has been rumored that there will be a Die Hard 4 and for years Die Hard 4 has never happened. However, this past Friday, John McClane himself (Bruce Willis) said that the fourth film was going to start production this year. So finally we have the official word from Bruce Willis himself stating that the film is going to happen and the long anticipated sequel will come to theaters next year. Bruce Willis talked about the big movie news while attending the Cannes Film Festival. Willis says although the movie will be a Die Hard film, the movie will not be called Die Hard 4. After last year’s Hurricane Katrina tragedy, the plot for Die Hard 4 was rewritten. The original premise involved an oil tanker explosion that sends huge waves flooding into New Orleans, LA. So look for Die Hard 4 in theaters sometime in the year 2007.
