Jennifer Garner to Star in Christmas Remake
Share this Story
Hollywood loves remakes. Critics hate remakes. Audiences have mixed reviews about remakes. So why are there always so many remakes if they are normally only mediocre at best? I don’t know the answer to this question however I do know that Jennifer Garner has signed on to star in the remake of a 1940’s Christmas comedy called Christmas In Connecticut.
In the remake, Garner will play a Rachael Ray like character who plays a tv hostess whos publicists have perpetuated the myth that she lives on a farm in Connecticut with her family that consists of her wife and child. The problem is the life that she is living is not the one that she tells everyone because Gardner is in fact a single woman who lives a life by herself in a one bedroom New York apartment. The fun begins when the camera crew from her television show wants to come to her house to videotape her Christmas dinner for the show. Garner quickly comes up with a mastermind plan where she decides to rent a family on a fake farm to prove to the world that her life is just as good as she has made it out to be.
No release date as of yet however since this is a Christmas film I am predicting a release of either November or December of 2007 or 2008. In the meantime feel free to check Jennifer Gardner out in Catch and Release which is in theaters now.
