Justin Timberlake's first film is a flop

I’ll admit I personally don’t really like Justin Timberlake however when I first heard of a movie called Edison which has now been retiled Edison Force I was excited to see it. The reason why I wanted to see it was not because of Timberlake being involved but because the film also starred Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman both of which are excellent actors. The movie however has received very poor reviews and has been sitting on various shelves waiting to be released since 2004 and has now officially gotten the word that the film will be going straight to video. The film was shown at many film festivals throughout the world last year but has gotten nothing but negative reviews. The Hollywood Reporter has stated that “The movie is a parade of cliches. A star-studded dud of a B-picture.” But although this film did not receive good reviews and will officially be a flop on Timberlake’s film resume, he has continued to pursue a career in acting. Timberlake actually is working on four movies including being a voice in the 3rd Shrek film as well as the film Alpha Dog which in my opinion looks horrible.
