Laura Linney and Scarlett Johansson Join Forces

Two very talented and beautiful ladies will co-star along each other in the new movie “The Nanny Diaries.” This movie is based on a hit novel with the same name which was written by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus. Big shot producers Bob Weinstein and Harvey Weinstein will be the ones who will adapt the book into a screenplay. The basic plot is centered on Annie Braddock (Scarlett Johansson), who is a college student that was just hired to be a nanny for a rich New York family and ends up being one of Manhattan’s Upper East Side residents. When she moves in with the X family (yes the book does not declare the real name of the family but calls them the Xs) she meets up with the mother Mrs. X (Laura Linney). Mrs. X is a highly dysfunctional and crazy woman who makes Annie’s life a living hell. Sounds pretty interesting and with a good cast like this I am sure it will be a decent flick. The Nanny Diaries will begin production next month in New York.
