Magnum PI: the movie

As we all known for years now Hollywood has officially began to run out of ideas for new movies. Well this time around the producers of the television show Magnum PI want to create a movie based on the television series. Charles Floyd Johnson one of the shows producers wants to cast Ben Affleck as the new Magnum PI. Johnson swears that Affleck will be the perfect choice to play the Hawaiian private investigator. Tom Selleck the original Magnum has been asked several times to play this part in a big screen blockbuster however he never took the offer. Johnson tells the movie website moviehole.net that he thinks the feature film will be great but sadly will not star Tim Selleck. Johnson continues by saying that Selleck has been asked to do six to eight movies but has never wanted to do a film. Right now Johnson feels that studios will now think he is too old to consider him for the part which is where Ben Affleck comes into play. Brian Grazer is the man behind the adaptation of the television series into a feature film.
