New Movie involving both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Today Brad Pitt has confirmed rumors that Angelina Jolie will in fact play Mariane Pearl in a movie being made by Pitt’s production company. The character Mariane Pearl is actually the widow of a Wall street Journal reporter by the name of Daniel Pearl. This movie which is still untitled at the moment is being adapted from Pearl’s memoir entitled A Mighty Heart which chronicles Mariane’s experience after her husband was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan in 2002. When Pitt was asked what exactly the film was about, Pitt responded with the following: "The film will focus on the deep collaboration between people around the world in search of Daniel in 2002. We hope the film can increase understanding between people of all faiths and portray the story and the people involved as honestly as possible without anger or judgment." Mariane has also expressed interest in the project and supports it. She has stated that she is happy to hear that Angelina Jolie will be playing her in the film and has stated that she admires Jolie’s work and seems committed to the project. The film which is based on true events will begin shooting in the fall and this will be Jolie’s first film since the birth of her daughter Shiloh Nouvel. This movie does sound interesting and controversial at the same time. I look forward to seeing it.
