Well normally I don’t write about any random movie but I personally have been a big fan of the Saw franchise and their production company Twisted Pictures. With that being said Twisted Pictures will be releasing new revenge thrilled entitled Tortured. The film will be directed by Rob Lieberman and is written by Marek Posival. The story follows a young couple whose daughter was kidnapped and murdered by a sick pedophile. Well luckily for the couple they get a chance to kidnap the killer who did this and with all their built up anger and rage they torture him. While the plot sounds similar to one of my favorite films of last year, Hard Candy, this film is suppose to have a different spin since its coming from the parent’s standpoint. The idea of what a parent would do if their child was murdered and abused by a pedophile is definitely an interesting one so I guess it should be interesting to see how the film handles this topic. Tortured is scheduled to begin shooting in June in Toronto with the same crew on board for Saw IV which hits theaters this Halloween.
