Nicolas Cage and 50 Cent teaming up

Well I must admit I was more than shocked when I read the news that one of my favorite actors Nicolas Cage will be teaming up with rap superstar 50 Cent in a new movie. The upcoming movie called The Dance will be about the real-life story of Billy “The Kid” Roth. Roth was a successful prizefighter who volunteered at prisons in Louisiana teaching inmates how to box. Roth will be played by Nicolas Cage. So who will 50 cent play you ask? An inmate who Roth feels can be one hell of a fighter the only problem is he is sentenced to life. The movie sounds alright but this film has been waiting to start producing since October of 2003 which worries me. Still no date on when the film is going to start shooting since Cage is currently working on the movie, Next with co-star Julianne Moore. 50 Cent is also working on a project called Home of the Brave co-staring Snakes on Plane star Samuel L. Jackson. I am not sure if Mr. Cent can act because Get Rich or Die Tryin sure didn’t prove him as a worthy actor but hey maybe co-starring in a movie with a big star like Cage will help him improve.
