Nicolas Cage is The Fly

One would think that after Nicolas Cage did the remake for the Wicker Man last year that one would not partake in the production of any more remakes. Well it seems that Nicolas Cage has not learned his lesion since he is saying that he would love to be in the new remake of the 80’s cult classic The Fly.
The new film will be re-imagined by director and writer David Cronenberg who is planning to turn the film into an opera. Nicolas Cage is planning on playing Brundle, the role that Jeff Goldblum played back in the 80s.
There is no truth to any of this at the moment however knowing how many ideas get thought of in Hollywood, I would probably think this one would be a good compared to several others. But don’t worry if any more news gets released regarding this remake I will be sure to keep my eye out for it.
