Paul Haggis, the man who wrote and directed Crash, has his eyes on a new project. The new project is called Against All Enemies and Paul is in final negotiations to produce and direct the film. This film is based on the Richard Clarke memoir that is about the Bush Administration’s handling of current terrorist threats. The book was a huge hit and was number one on the New York Times best seller list.

Haggis isn’t quite sure if he wants to tackle this political drama first or direct another film before attempting this one. Either way it looks like its going to be a go for Haggis. Haggis is currently writing a script for Death and Dishonor a new film for Warner Brothers which is also attached to direct.

Paul Haggis will become one of the biggest directors/writers of this generation if he plays his cards right and continues to do great work like Crash and Million Dollar Baby. Lets just hope he can stay on the path he’s on because he’s on a very good path.
