Peter Jackson to direct the Lord of the Ring Prequels?

Just a few days ago I wrote about how New Line Cinema fired Peter Jackson from being the director of “The Hobbit” but now there is more news. After that story hit the airwaves and the internet hundreds of Lord of the Rings fans created a protest. Well now it seems that Peter Jackson will be actually directing both “The Hobbit” and another Lord of the Rings Prequel.
Who says this news you may ask? Well producer Saul Zaentz has! Who is Zaentz you may ask well he is the man who acquired the rights to the Lord of the Rings writer J.R.R. Tolkien work back in 1976. So that means that the Saul Zacentz Company owns Tolkien Enterprises. Zaentz states that the two films will be definitely shot by Peter Jackson because next year “The Hobbit” rights will go back to him rather than to New Line Cinema.
Zanetz states that Jackson is sick of dealing with the studios especially New Line after he had to sue them in order to get the right profit chair from the Lord of the Rings films. Zanetz says that he will be giving Jackson a great job and will pay him much better than New Line without having to say or sue anyone. It will be interesting to see where this goes I really believe that Jackson will direct since millions all over the world seem to love his work.
