Have you ever been on an airline and the flight attendants refuse to give you proper service?? Mild Mannered Businessman Dave Buznik, a guy who hates confrontation gets mistakenly convicted of a crime, and sentence by the Judge to attend Anger Management Therapist Dr. Buddy Rydell played by the absolutely fabulously divine Jack Nicholson, in his most wicked performance since the Witches of Eastwick.
The doc is in so to speak, when Dr. Rydell literally becomes the guest from hell, as the doc literally transforms the meek geek Buznik into a crazed maniac seeking to get rid of the Doc once and for all. (so to speak)
Director Peter Seagal takes a script written by David Dorfman and makes it into a gold mine, as Adam Sandler puts in a straight man's performance, as Anger Management belongs to Jack Nicholson.
The "clinic"'s famous patients who puts in cameo appearance, include baseball player Roger Clemens, actor Ray Liotta and former Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani., just to mention a few.
Even Scene Stealing John C. Reily who plays Buznik's old friend, who was converted into a Monk, in a real funny Budhist scene.
I could not stop laughing as Anger Management is truly a comic gem, and will do something special at the box office.
Anger Management is rated 15 (for crude sexual content and language)
film Premiered at the Show West Convention in Las Vegas.
Opens Nationwide on: April 11th.
My Rating: A Phat 10 out of 10.
