Say it Isn’t so, The Joker is?

Heath Ledger. While I hope this is not true it has been reported in Australia that Heath Ledger will in fact play the Joker in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel. First off no one will be able to beat Jack Nicholson’s performance as the Joker in the original Batman film directed by Tim Burton. But the second reason is why Heath because he doesn’t seem to fit the part. Regardless of what I think, Heath was offered the role last week and will star in the next installment of the franchise which is said to be released in 2008. Both Robin Williams and Paul Bettany wanted the role as the Joker and personally I think either would have been a better choice. The choice was made according to moviehole.net because Ledger was actually the same age as Christian Bale and for some reason because of their age it would be a better choice. Personally I think it’s a bad casting call however it is Christopher Nolan and he always makes good movies so maybe he can really transform Ledger into the Joker however it will be a tough task for sure.
